Sustainable Purchasing Policy

Advance Agility Ltd – Sustainable Purchasing Policy

Purpose

The Sustainable Purchasing Policy outlines Advance Agility Ltd’s commitment to responsible procurement practices that minimise environmental impact, support ethical suppliers, and promote social value.
We aim to make purchasing decisions that reflect our sustainability values and contribute to a fair, circular economy.

1. Commitment

We commit to:

  • Purchasing goods and services that minimise environmental harm and support sustainable development.

  • Prioritising suppliers who demonstrate ethical labour practices, diversity, and sustainability certifications.

  • Considering whole-life costs and environmental impacts — not just upfront price — in all procurement decisions.

  • Aligning purchasing practices with our ESG Policy and Zero Waste goals.

2. Sustainable Procurement Principles

Our procurement decisions will be guided by the following principles:

  • Environmental Responsibility: Prefer products made from recycled, renewable, or biodegradable materials.

  • Resource Efficiency: Purchase energy-efficient equipment and minimise packaging waste.

  • Ethical Sourcing: Select suppliers that comply with the Modern Slavery Act, anti-corruption laws, and fair labour standards.

  • Local Preference: Where possible, source from local or regional suppliers to reduce transportation emissions and support community economies.

  • Supplier Collaboration: Encourage suppliers to adopt and disclose sustainability policies, and work with them to improve performance.

3. Implementation & Monitoring

To ensure effective implementation, Advance Agility Ltd will:

  • Include sustainability criteria in supplier evaluations and tender processes.

  • Request supporting evidence of environmental certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, FSC, Fairtrade).

  • Periodically review suppliers for ESG alignment and performance.

  • Train relevant staff on sustainable procurement practices.

4. Review & Continuous Improvement

This policy will be reviewed annually by the Directors to ensure it reflects best practices in responsible sourcing and continues to support our sustainability objectives.
